"Developing Literacy and Fluency: Are We Equipping Our Team for Success?"



Author Stephen King suggest that the best way to learn how to write - is to write.


Perhaps then, the best way to become a fluent communicator is to speak more often.


We already create problems by not dedicating enough time to teach our team members to run systems.


Even more worrying, is the lack of literacy in the written material we share with patients and the lack of fluency in the way we communicate with them.


Team members deserve lessons in both.


I'm not holding my breath.
