I remember the first time I read The Lean Startup by Eric Ries. It was 2011, and the book had only just landed in the UK market. Like many, I picked it up out of curiosity—what could a tech start-up guide offer someone like me, working with dental business owners?
As it turned out, quite a lot.
What struck me wasn’t the buzzwords or Silicon Valley hype—it was the pragmatism. The simplicity. The relentless focus on building something valuable without wasting time, money, or energy. It made sense back then. It makes even more sense now.
